Postage &
Packing Charges.
Orders of £25 or over are postage
FREE*.
Postage and
packing for orders under £25 is £1.85 flat rate.
Royal Mail Special
Delivery service for orders requiring a guaranteed delivery date. To qualify for same day dispatch and
next day delivery orders must be completed by 12 noon weekdays. Cost for Special Delivery service is
£5.50 for first item and 50p each additional. A signature will be required upon
delivery.
Dispatch and Dispatch
Notification.
Most orders in receipt of cleared
payment before 3pm weekdays (excluding Bank Holidays) are dispatched the
same day.
Orders in receipt of cleared payment
after 3pm weekdays are dispatched the next working day.
We do not dispatch on weekends or
Bank Holidays.
An email notification will be
sent to the email address you entered at the time of ordering when your order
has been dispatched.
Delivery Method and
Schedule.
Royal Mail handle delivery and we
use first class service for our standard dispatches.
Bulky or orders of high value may be
sent via a signed for service which will require a responsible person to sign
for the delivery upon arrival. This
additional service is provided at our discretion and at no additional cost to
the customer. Customers will be
informed of any signature requirement at the time of
dispatch.

Special Delivery Next Day Service is an extra service and incurs extra
cost.
Royal Mail has a minimum delivery
time of next working day and a maximum delivery time of 15 working days, we
anticipate delivery of your order to fall in-between. If you are worried about the length of
time your parcel is taking to arrive, please contact us.
Attempted
Delivery.
Occasionally items of mail that
cannot be delivered (no-one to sign for it or item too large to fit through
standard letterbox and no-one present to answer the door) are taken back to the
local delivery office. The Post-person should leave a card containing
details of the attempted delivery (date, time and reason) and information on how
re-delivery can be arranged, location of delivery office and opening times
should you wish to collect it yourself. Please telephone the telephone
number listed on the card for further information from your local delivery
office. Re-delivery can now be arranged online. Royal Mail will hold your order for a
maximum of 7 days, after which it will be returned to us via the undeliverable
mail office in Ireland which can take up to 3 weeks. When we receive it back we will contact
you and arrange for collection of cost for redelivery.
Sometimes a card is not left (forgot
or ran out); if you suspect a delivery attempt has been made please telephone
your local delivery office for advice and assistance. The telephone number
can be obtained by calling Royal Mail customer services on 08457 740 740.
Non
Delivery.
We will require written
confirmation from buyer confirming non delivery and copies of all emails,
transaction details and contact details will be forwarded to Royal Mail
Investigation Department for investigation. RMID will contact the buyer
requesting more information.

of time your parcel is taking to arrive, please contact
us.
Cancelling your
order.
If an item from
your order or the entire order is not suitable or no longer required (order cancellation).
Please email us with reason for return within 7
days of receipt of the goods and we will issue a freepost
returns envelope and returns form for any unused, unopened or unworn items. Once received,
please complete the returns form and enclose it with the goods (complete
with all original packing and in saleable condition). A refund of the item
cost and standard delivery cost (if applied) will be issued within 30 days of
receipt pending inspection. Please ensure items are packed securely and proof of
postage is obtained. We do not collect goods. We do not offer an exchange service so if alternative goods are required, please order in the usual way. This cancellation can apply to goods
only and not for any additional service purchased, such as Special
Delivery. Cancellation prior to receipt of goods: If you wish to cancel your order after dispatch, but prior to receipt, please notify us by email as soon as possible after dispatch notification. Refuse the delivery and Royal Mail will return the goods to us, we will refund item cost only within 30 days of receipt. Please note that return to sender mail can take upto 3 weeks to be processed. If you recieve the goods, leave them unopened and return them ensuring proof of posting is obtained. A refund of item cost only will be processed within 30 days of receipt.
Damaged in
transit.
All items are brand new, unused and
untested, however occasionally problems do arise. If goods are damaged
upon receipt or are in an unsatisfactory condition, please email us with the
complaint within 7 days of receipt of goods and we will send you a freepost
returns envelope and returns form. Once received, please complete the returns
form and enclose it with the goods (complete with all original packing). A
replacement item will be issued within 48 hours of receipt pending inspection.
Please ensure items are packed securely and proof of postage is obtained.
We do not collect goods.
For hygiene reasons we cannot refund
/ replace any opened / used cosmetics / perfume or any garments or items that
have had their tags removed by customer unless they are faulty. Any items
that are being returned to us as damaged goods that have been used or worn or
have tags removed will not be exchanged as this voids our returns
policy.
UNDERWEAR / LINGERIE / CLOSE CONTACT
CLOTHING. We are unable to refund / replace these items unless faulty or
damaged. PLEASE be sure of your size and of all stated measurements before
bidding or buying. All items are inspected before
despatch.

Pricing &
Availability
All product prices are in
£ sterling and exclusive of any stated delivery costs which will be charged as
stated in the Postage and Packing section of this page and various locations on this
site. Prices with a marked United
Kingdom recommended retail price (UK RRP) refer to prices the manufacturer
recommends goods be sold at in the UK market, or prices that retailers within
the UK market are currently offering the same product. All products are subject
to availability. In the event that your order cannot be fulfilled you will be
given a refund for the unavailable product(s).
Authenticity -
Cosmetics
We guarantee that all advertised
products are 100% genuine. However it is customers responsibility to check all
sizes, weights, measurements, volumes and colours and any stated flaws or
special notes, particularly regarding cosmetics that were originally part of a
gift set and are being sold individually, descriptions are read fully and
understood. Occasionally such cosmetics items may have the words "not for
individual resale" on them or be marked as testers. By submitting you order to
girlyshop.co.uk, you are confirming that you have read all item descriptions
fully and understand and are aware of this fact and do not consider this to be a
problem with ordering that product. We make every effort try to ensure all
products marked as such are identified on the system.
Authenticity -
Jewellery
All jewellery items with description
of 925 Sterling Silver are genuine 925 Sterling Silver and will carry the 925
Silver Quality Mark (925 stamped). All gemstones are exactly as stated and are
completely authentic and genuine. It is customer's responsibility to read all
item specifications and descriptions, particularly regarding item size, weight
and material. All jewellery item specifications and descriptions will have
description or photograph of special packaging. Please note that occasionally
the packing will be subject to change due to availability; however replacement
packaging will be of similar or higher quality than that shown / described.
Materials.
All materials are described as fully
as labelling detail allows. Please
follow any garment care / washing instructions carefully as items damaged by
incorrect washing are not eligible for return.

Please note that all jewellery
images have been enlarged for clarity of detail. Please check, sizes, lengths,
weights and measurements carefully before purchasing. All earrings are shown
without butterfly backs as we feel this detracts from the item. All earrings are
provided with 925 quality marked Sterling Silver butterfly backs unless stated.
Gemstone colours may appear differently on computer screens than in reality.

Please note most images of cosmetic
items on this site have been reduced to fit into site design. It is customer
responsibility to check all sizes, volumes, shades and colours before
purchasing. Colours represented on your monitor may differ from
reality.
Order
Payment
Credit and Debit Card payments are
made online using secure payment service via PayPal or Nochex. Payment will be
debited to your account before despatch of your purchase. Any refunds will be auctioned via same
service as original payment with the exception of partial refunds via
Nochex. These will be completed by
paper payment.
Order
Confirmation
You will be sent an e-mail
confirming receipt of your order. We reserve the right to decline any order. All
orders are accepted subject to our Terms and Conditions of Sale.
Security
We DO NOT store customer payment
details on our servers. Only your name, email and your postal address
transmitted from our secure server to secure payment servers, using 128 bit
encryption, for the payment process. This can be verified by double clicking the
Padlock icon located on your browser's status-bar.
Data
Privacy
We will not and do not supply any of
your details to any third party at all. From time to time we or our sister
company may send you e-mail notifications of new arrivals or promotions if you
have agreed to accept these upon account / order creation. Girlyshop.co.uk will
not pass on any of your details to third parties unless required to do so as
part of the order verification process or if required to do so by UK governing
law. As a statement these Terms and Conditions do not affect your statutory
rights as a consumer. English law governs sales on this web site and you agree
to submit any dispute to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts. All
orders are subject to these terms and conditions, and we will accept no
amendments.
